Our Principal

My name is Fran Waterman, and it is an honour to be the Founding Principal of Kerribana Primary School.

At Kerribana (pronounced kerri-puh-nuh), we are proud to be a regional Supported Inclusion School. This philosophy resonates deeply with me; the chance to have able and disabled siblings attend the same school setting and share their primary journey and common experiences and connections.

As Principal, I am passionate about creating a school community where every child feels valued, supported, and inspired to grow both academically and personally. I am always available and a visible leader, spending time in classrooms every day.

I bring to Kerribana over twenty years of experience as an educator, leader, and innovator, deeply committed to creating impactful and future-focused learning environments. As the founding principal of Kerribana Primary School, I am passionate about building an inclusive, connected community where students feel safe to explore, be curious and express themselves.
